Two years had passed since the last MGFIM, so now we were going for the next edition. This time we were back on the Continent, exploring various areas of Belgium. The date was set to the Ascencion weekend again, which was 25 to 28 May. A comprehensive program was provided, starting on the Thursday for the early birds, exploring the city centre in the late afternoon and evening. Lots of routes to drive and places to visit had been set up for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
25.05. - 28.05.2017
The event had been organised by members of the MG Car Club Antwerp, known to many for their renowned “Kempenrit”. Bruno, Francine and Erik were working hard to make the weekend unforgettable.
The event headquarters were situated in the city of Aalst, conveniently located just off the E40 motorway between Brussels and Ghent. With just about 100 miles from the Dunkirk ferry port, 230 km from Cologne, 300 km from the Boulevard Périphérique in Paris, Aalst was easily reachable from various parts of Europe.
